Put your education and skills to work as a Child and Youth Care Worker. Supporting a client in a group care, you are critical to the personal success of this individual in our care. Skilled with assessment, program planning and implementation behaviour management, you are a strong advocate for dignity and independence. Assisting with daily living, medical needs, behavioural supports and personal care, you are also an important link to community resources.
You possess the ability to develop creative service plans for children in group care. You are able to manage client groups, work with families and act as a community liaison.. you also hold a Diploma/Degree in Child and Youth Care (or equivalent). A valid operator’s licence is required.
Police Information Check, Intervention Record Check and/or summary of driving record are conditions of employment and the financial responsibility of the candidate.
