This is a full-time contract position (40 hours/week).
As a Family Support Worker with Community Service, you provide in-home support for families as well as teach parenting and communication skills. You are self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and as a liaison with Children's Services. You are organized, excel in time management and have proficient computer skills.
Your Diploma/Degree in Social Services (or equivalent), along with 2 years of experience working with children and families make you an ideal candidate for this position. Knowledge of addictions and mental health issues would be an asset. A vehicle and valid driver's licence are required.
