Catholic Charities Society has been incorporated since 1976. Since that time, it has grown into a resource that has gained much external recognition for its skills and abilities at marrying compassion to efficiency. Its partnership with Catholic Social Services and Sign of Hope Society is exemplary of those tightly knit relationships which understand that serving those in need is best carried out under conditions of stability and safety, accompanied by a vision of high quality and cost effective services.
The Board of Directors for Catholic Charities Society administers corporate policies, while the subsidiaries, with their own Boards of Directors, are responsible for setting and implementing the operational policies.
In April 2002, Dr. Chris Leung was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Charities/ Catholic Social Services.
