Catholic Charities Society is a not-for-profit society committed to providing a safety net for people in need. Catholic Charities does this by supporting its two subsidiary organizations: Catholic Social Services and the Sign of Hope Society.
Through these two organizations Catholic Charities is able to provide people from all walks of life and religions the help they need to not only make it through the tough times, but take control of their future and make the most of their lives.
More than 1,200 women and men work for Catholic Charities and their subsidiaries with a common zeal to protect the innocent, empower the weak and to value the inherent worth of each and every person we serve regardless of faith, culture, creed, sexual orientation or financial status.
In 2007, more than 60,000 children, women and men received help from Catholic Social Services.
